Earnings

How do I check the status of my account?
Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email notification welcoming you to our program.  You login and password will be those you provided when you registered for an account. To see your account status and commission report simple login to your account through our website.

When do I get paid?
 Earnings are automatically sent out every quarter via check to all Affiliates who have accumulated at least $50 in their account. There are no invoices to send and no data to track-- all payments are taken care of by A Christmas Story House Gift Shop. For those affiliates earning over $600 in a year, 1099's will be issued for tax reporting purposes.  (You may elect to set a higher accrual threshold, if you wish) If you have not yet accrued $50 (or your designated threshold), then your earned Fees will carry forward into the next quarter, and a check will be mailed after the quarter in which your accrued Fees exceed the $50 threshold.

Are Any Sales Not Tracked and Credited?
We cannot track sales if a consumer rejects the "cookie" sent from the A Christmas Story House Gift Shop server, or if the consumer deletes the cookie after the initial referral but before making a purchase. We also cannot track sales if a consumer changes their "browser profile" or "identity", or if the consumer uses a different computer to visit the A Christmas Story House Gift Shop web site to make the purchase. In addition, a consumer's purchase will always be credited to the most recent affiliate whose link was used to reach the A Christmas Story House Gift Shop web site.

What Happens if Two Affiliates Refer the Same Consumer?
Our policy is to credit all sales to the "last referring affiliate," since that site is the one most likely to have caused the sale to occur.  

How Are Returns or Charge-backs Handled?
If a purchase is returned, or if all or part of any transaction is "charged back" due to a dispute or credit card fraud, the affiliate commission will be modified to reflect the change in the underlying transaction.  If we have already paid your commission on the transaction, the charge-back will be deducted from future commission checks.

When Does A Christmas Story House Gift Shop Pay It’s Affiliates?
We will mail commission checks to affiliates who have accrued at least $50 in earnings, no later than 60 days after the end of a quarter in which commissions accrue. In some quarters, we may elect to mail commission payments sooner but we reserve the right to delay payment up to 60 days to allow time for any returns or fraudulent credit card charges to be reported and processed.  If you have not yet accrued $50 in earnings, then your earnings will "roll over" into the next quarter, until you accrue at least $50.

Legal Stuff

Are there any restrictions?
We'd like everyone to promote A Christmas Story House Gift Shop. However, there are cases where we cannot allow certain sites to participate in our Affiliate program. We will evaluate your application in good faith and will notify you of your acceptance or rejection. We may reject your application if we determine, at our sole discretion, that your site is unsuitable for the Program.
Unsuitable sites include those that:

• Promote sexually explicit materials
• Promote violence
• Promote illegal activities
• Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
• Include "A Christmas Story House Gift Shop" or any WB characters, movie titles or variations or misspellings thereof in their domain names
• Otherwise violate intellectual property or other rights

Additionally, in order to promote a fair opportunity to earn commission for all affiliates, A Christmas Story House Gift Shop will not work with any affiliate that uses or promotes adware or spyware software or any other software that delivers advertising based on a customer downloading a software application, either knowingly, or unknowingly, including BHO's (browser helper objects), downloadable reminder services, or any other software or code that pops-up or redirects the user.
If we reject your application, you are welcome to reapply to the program at any time. You should also note that if we accept your application and your site is thereafter determined, at our sole discretion, to be unsuitable for the program, we may terminate this agreement.

Do I need to sign any kind of agreement?
There is nothing for you to sign but you must agree to the terms of our agreement before joining our program - it's part of the registration process.

What if I live outside the United States?
The affiliate program is only available to website owners with customers within the United States. We only ship orders with in the United States
